Airline Transport Pilot License
The Airline Transport Pilot’s license is a requirement in order to work for certain airlines and very often is required by part 135 charter operators as a minimum requirement.

Minimum requirements:
- Be at least 23 years of age
- Hold at least a commercial pilots license with instrument rating
- Have at least 1500 hours of total time as pilot that includes:
- 500 hours of cross country time
- 100 hours of night flight time
- 75 hours of instrument time
- 250 hours in an airplane as pilot in command, or as second in command performing the duties of a pilot in command, or any combination thereof, which includes at least:
- 100 hours of cross country time
- 25 hours of night flight time
- Pass the FAA Airline Transport Pilot Knowledge Test
- Pass the FAA Airline Transport Pilot Practical Test
