Multi engine RATING
EARN A Multi Engine RATING AT ONE OF FLORIDA’S TOP FLIGHT SCHOOLS
A multi engine rating opens the door to a career as a professional pilot. Most any professional pilot job will require the ability to fly aircraft with more than one engine, which is what a multi engine rating allows.
WE’RE YOUR SOURCE FOR FLORIDA Multi Engine RATING TRAINING!
Rexair uses modern Tecnam P2006Ts for our multi engine training. Often referred to as the “Tecnam Twin,” the P2006 has Garmin G1000 glass panel avionics and an autopilot. The advanced Rotax engines are reliable and fuel efficient, reducing the cost of your training. Perhaps most importantly, the aircraft is easy to handle on one engine, easing your path to a multi engine rating.
How do I get My Multi Engine Rating?
Our standard multi engine program can be completed in as little as three days. It includes 12 hours of dual flight time and 6 hours of ground with an instructor for only $6995. It includes enough flight time to train and complete the checkride, but not examiner fees. We have good DPE availability for the practical test. There is no knowledge test for the multi engine rating.
FAA Requirements for multi engine Rating
The primary requirement for a multi engine rating is to pass an oral test and flight test administered by an FAA inspector, FAA-designated examiner, or authorized check instructor. There is no knowledge test. There is no separate ACS (Airman Certification Standards) for the multi, the checkride maneuvers and standards are in the ACS for the certificate you hold, such as private or commercial. There are no additional requirement for flight time.
